Obsidian is turning out to be my favorite tool these days. I like their thinking process. The way they decide what they want to use. Having future in mind etc.

I chose Obsidian for note taking because not only are it's ethos matching with mine but their thinking is also great. If I had envisioned building a great note taking tool it would be very similar to what Obsidian is. I can hardly think of any areas where they could have done better. They are offline first, text files are central to what they are doing, they have chosen Markdown which I have started to love of late, they understand the power of Links and Crosslinking , they have a great Android app, What else could I have asked for?

Recently I asked myself What is the most impactful thing you can do. The long term answer was Learning Paths, Mid term answer was building Systems for myself and short term(couple of years) was building great teams at Grofers. I was able to answer all of these organically from my notes I had made on Obsidian. That is a testimony to what Obsidian can do. It helps you find your clarity through writing and interlinking. Since writing and clarity is a positive flywheel it becomes addictive once you start writing in Obsidian.
