Vegrow
right now I am working at Vegrow as a Director of Engineering. Vegrow is a B2B fruits startup. The supply chain for perishable fruits is a complex one. Right now I am having fun doing the work I am doing. I always wanted to work on Agritech but the cards never aligned. So I was happy when this opportunity showed up in May 2024. I am working with the tech/product team, and adoption of AI in general and vision AI in specific into our workflows.
Over the last few quarters I am looking into the Banana exports pod. Our target is to build a Exports Operating System which smoothens the complete lifecycle of Banana Exports. This is an exciting intersection for me as I get to work on the intersection of tech and agri. Our efforts also lead to increase in India exports.
Learning Paths
Our first tool is @usehighlights which lets you highlight any interesting parts on the website. You can add notes and tags across the internet. Using that I have created a curation sub section on the site Curious About
Our second tool is learning paths which lets you create learning paths quickly. That is still work in progress and will be online shortly. When live you can check it out on https://alpha.app.learningpaths.io/#/create/learning-path and https://alpha.app.learningpaths.io/#/learning-paths Currently you can look at the interface but it will not end up creating a learning path yet.
My mind map
A peek into my brain - My Mind Map is Most important project I am working on right now. I am slowly working on this so that all things I have done across the internet and all the things I am working on will get collated over the time and will be in a single place here.
I am actively taking notes these days so that I can improve the mental models of myself and the world I live in. Just a few days of this has already provided me with so much clarity and learnings. I want to see how this will progress and if I can do this consistently for say a year.

Previous - Engineering Manager at Grofers
I was an Engineering Manager at @grofers. I built the CRM tech team. Then followed it up with CMS team which takes care of product onboarding and merchant onboarding. Grofers is a pioneer of of 10 minutes delivery and Instant Commerce in India. I was wrong about the need for 10 minutes but now I have built my conviction in the ways it can change the consumer behaviour in India. Read Why 10 mins delivery is important
Was on a break
I am currently taking a personal break. It started on 21st October-2022. I am planning to extend this break until October-2024. I explored some of my interests. I wanted this period to be one without too many goals. So I did a low intensity consulting to pay my bills. It eventually became a high intensity one but it was fulfilling . I worked as a consultant for Meghalaya Basin Development Authority and worked closely with State planning commission team. All thanks to my friend Gunanka
