This is one of the most underutilized Tools in my opinion.

Capturing your thoughts of the primary deal. Text of the final format. What happens in between is not so important as long as your end goal is achieved. Until we have tools that can convert our thoughts into text, speech will play an important role. Typing is not natural, speaking is.

Google STT does a decent job today and but it needs to get much better.

Our brain thinks faster than the pace at which tools can capture them. I think this is going to be true for quite some time. Until then tools will try to match our brain and capture the thoughts as quickly as possible. The tool that can capture at high speed will have better adoption. If it doesn't get better adoption then people who use that tool will have advantages over those who don't.

Tools that are powerful but have no adoption yet

Today I think Obsidian is at that stage. But obsidian has better lead than speed. That is capturing the interconnectedness of the thoughts are inherently present in our brain. That is who Crosslinking is important. It is a better map of mind. It is a better My Mind Map. Well yes that is what I am going to call my A peek into my brain - My Mind Map experiment. Well I just arrived at this name organically.

Other thoughts

Text to speech is equally important. Especially in your own voice.
