Quick Starter

  1. Write a short description of who you are and share with me. Please include the following
    1. Who you are?
    2. Where did you study and what did you study?
    3. What are you doing currently.
    4. Do you know how I can help you?
    5. What is your commitment level? Number of hours per day you are ready to spend on the exercises.
    6. How long are you planning to collaborate with me?
      1. I look at this as a two way exercise. I mentor you in some topics, you mentor me in some topics. I will figure out what to learn from you and how I can extract value from what we do together.
      2. It is good if you know how to extract value from what we do together, if not I can help you figure that out.
    7. Do you know how you can help me?
  2. Create a copy of our daily updates template. Create a copy
  3. Define your minimum and average commitments
    1. Daily Minimum Hours
    2. Daily Average Hours
    3. Weekly Minimum Hours
    4. Weekly Average Hours
    5. It is ok if you miss your daily minimum hours on some days. But make sure to meet your weekly minimum and average hours target. If you are not able to meet it either improve your commitment or reduce your committed hours.
  4. In the initial stages call me between 8 pm and 12 pm and give me a quick update. Generally let us try to keep the calls to less than 5 mins.
  5. Install Obsidian and do the basic setup.
    1. Low priority. You can do this later. Syncing Obsidian on Desktop and Mobile
  6. Install our Highlights Extension and make at-least 10 highlights from couple of articles you liked of late. Mark few of them public and share it with me. It will help me track what topics are curious for you.

  9. Buy Atomic Habits and The Psychology of Money books immediately. If you can't afford it let me know and I will sponsor them for you.
  10. If you are interested in design then buy Design of Everyday Things
  11. Create a list of Known Knowns, Known Unknowns, discuss with me about Unknown Knowns and Unknown Unknowns

  12. Create accounts on Twitter, Medium and Leetcode
