this is a set of tasks where continue tea is not a major requirement. Making a list of interruptible tasks is critical for parents. Most of the time she will be doing something and your kids will come and disturb you. You cannot say no to them because they're your priority and hence you will need to put your tasks on a pause. If it is a critical task which requires continuation or which needs you to get into a certain framework of mine then kids interrupting you can irritate you a lot.

For this particular reason I reduced doing non-interval tasks when kids or around. Such kind of tasks I would rather do in office or do in a place where kids generally don't come or cannot disturb me.

But I also feel the guilt of not spending enough time with my kid sometimes. To overcome this I create my list of interruptible tasks and I do those things around the kid when I need to do something productive.

The list

  1. reading something short.
  2. small coding tasks which are not important.
  3. something that is visual and my kid also would like to do.
    1. traffic planning exercise
    2. library planning
  4. going through the highlights i have made in physical books
  5. learning to doodle
  6. origami
  7. reading Gita Summary
