Yep, that is true. This is not the ego talking but the realization. And this is in in-fact true for everybody. Your world starts with you. If you look at your circle of your influence and control, you will see that you have the maximum influence and control over yourself. So it also makes sense to start with that most of the times and then expand your radius.
