Share your perspective. But don't justify yourself. Document your learnings and share them. That way you don't repeat your mistakes and others can learn from your mistakes.

There are plenty of opportunities today and there are great teams. Build your runway so that you are not at the mercy of your reporting manager or your current company. Remember that what kind of company you have matters more than which company you work for.
